Work is all about Boozie and Partying..
I used to doubt and deny that i will be like what most bankers are - alcoholics. Not saying that im now one but everything about me, my comaraderie, my boss, and not forgetting my mr bond, is about alcohol. Maybe its part of growing. Beer is the new green tea =)
i was surprise that i actually fallen a little for beer... the smoothness of it, the bittersweet taste that lingers at the back of ur tongue... Perfect.
Monday night was a catch up at Joleen's house after Haze return from her long diving trip. it was a long time since we girls gathered and have a drink together.
Tuesday was a OT night, we stayed till 9pm in branch, boss accompanied us. At the end of it, he ask us to join him at Lunar for boozie as it was his 'Bro' bird-day. that was indeed a happening night. We all had our fair share of the drinks but i drove back all the way from Clarke Quay to Hougang sending my Shifu home and then driving myself back.
And, i got stopped somewhere... thank God im fine. Really. i was totally awake when the police stopped us. I wasnt asked to take the breathalyser. They police merely look at us and wave me to proceed on. i went PHEW!! then again, im pretty sure even if i were to take the test i will still pass... if it was my colleague sitting beside me blowing, he will sure get charged... he took several shots that night.
Just a little updates..
My OFFs have all been revoked and im now working consecutively everyday of the week.. until my block leave, which starts 16nov till 30nov. I dont know to hate or love my boss sometimes. its amazing that he treat us this bad and we all love him like mice love cheese!
so for now, im gonna be a 'forced to be workaholic'...
till i find quality time at home to blog and update about whats going on, take care people!!
